I am a Distinguished Technologist, Enterprise Architect, and executive advisor, supporting boards and senior leadership teams in navigating digital transformation, technology risk and long-term architectural sustainability.
With over 35 years in the IT industry as a practising technologist and architecture leader, I help organisations make informed, pragmatic decisions across cloud adoption, cybersecurity resilience, data and AI and the modernisation of complex legacy estates. My approach positions Enterprise Architecture as a governance, assurance and decision-enabling capability, enabling leaders to balance innovation, cost and risk while maintaining delivery confidence.
I operate effectively at board and C-suite level, translating complex technical landscapes into clear options, implications and recommendations. I am particularly valued for my ability to challenge constructively, demystify emerging technologies, and ensure that technology investment aligns with business capability, operating models, and regulatory obligations.
Alongside my role at DXC Technology, I contribute to national and industry discussions as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), Fellow of the BCS (FBCS) and member of the BCS Fellows Technical Advisory Group (FTAG), focusing on the opportunities and challenges of emerging technologies and their impact on organisational and national competitiveness.
