When AI can fabricate evidence indistinguishable from reality, the “Some AI Did It” defence becomes every investigator’s nightmare. Traditional DFIR methods weren’t built for this. This post argues forensic readiness must become an architectural concern (designed in, not bolted on) across every jurisdiction.
